We are thrilled to announce a call for presenters for the 2019 NACW Annual Meeting and Leadership Training: “Engineering our Future: Blueprint for Women's Leadership.” Workshop presenters will play a key role in ensuring that the 150+ conference participants gain new skills, insights into best practices and current trends, and connections to potential partners.
The NACW is seeking a diversity of workshop presenters who will explore ways to most effectively reach goals and meet the needs of women’s commissions at all levels of government by exploring innovative programming and sharing best practices. Workshops will be 90 minutes in length, and teams of up to 4 presenters are welcome!
2019 Conference Workshop Topics We especially welcome proposals that address one or more of the following themes, but please note that we will also consider innovative and relevant presentation ideas that are not necessarily listed above:
Policies that advance equality and opportunities for women and girls
Innovative and educational programming
Leveraging partnership to advance shared goals
Advocating for and implementing CEDAW (Convention for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women)
