Joelle Logue

State: New York Region: 2 Joelle Logue is a retired weekly newspaper editor and free-lance writer turned women’s advocate. A longtime volunteer with the YWCA, she was president of her local YWCA, chair of the Northeast Region of YWCAs and currently serves as Secretary of the YWCA World Service Council. She is also a Board member of Planned Parenthood Empire State Acts and served on a task force that included restructuring the state entity and revising bylaws. Termed out as chair of the Erie County Commission on the Status of Women, she currently serves as secretary. Joelle resides in Buffalo, NY and earned a BA in English and Political Science from Penn State Univ., and an MA in Journalism from the Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
