• July 10, 2017 - 2013 NACW conference keynote speaker and gender equality activist, Betty Dukes, passed away.  Her tenacity and courage led her to take on retail giant Wal-Mart after she noticed they were promoting male employees and overlooking their female counterparts. On August 5, 2017, NACW board member, Phyllis Gordon, attended a memorial service and read a letter from NACW. Click here to read the letter.
